Huh- what a funny day. If anything other than Daylight Savings Time points out the arbitrary and completely unnatural nature of time, it’s this day. Time is just a construct that we made, and not a very good one at that. Time’s not real folks. It just isn’t.
But since we are stuck in the construct- happy end of February. If today is your birthday- I’m sorry. See you in four years.
FAI was awesome. Among so many moments that were excellent, this one with Nichole Bridgwell stands out. Nichole performs under the name Cast Iron Shoes. Go follow her. I met so many great people, and I’m looking forward to seeing what might develop from all that. But mostly I’m glad I don’t normally go without that much sleep. This is what FAI at 2am on Saturday is actually like.
I’m still recovering from FAI, and also from a blazing night at Rosalee’s last night. Thanks to everyone who came out to the pie shop and rocked it with us. It was fun. Hope to see you back at the pie shop soon. In the meantime, I’ll be working on some recording projects and getting ready to release some new music. If you want a sneak peek, here ya go.
