I have no idea really. It’s winter. We’re in Colorado, so that means snow, then sun. So I can’t complain. What’s your favorite winter pastime? I vacillate between hibernation and skiing. Oh, I also have to go to work. Very overrated.
But, the music marches on. I’ll be up in the mountains in Northern Colorado at The Rock Inn on Feb. 6 and down in the lowlands of Denver for the first of six nights this year at Awake Denver on Feb. 11. I’m hoping we get some new songs finished in the next month or so here. The plan is to just keep releasing things as we get them done. Have you listened to “One Angel Wing” yet? It came out in December and then in January we put out the video which features John and Derek looking cool and me looking like an idiot. But we had a lot of fun. One of the toughest parts of the pandemic is how much it has put a dent in playing with John and Derek- they are two really great fun guys who always have my back on stage- which I need!
Look for some trio gigs coming up in the spring. I’m in full booking mode right now and hopefully we’ll hit the summer with a full schedule and we’ll get a chance to come your way.
