Happy fall!!!
At least technically. It’s still pretty hot here today. But it is the start of fall.
I have no idea what that means.
I’m headed to Texas this week, to the Southwest Regional Folk Alliance Conference (or SWRFA, if you’re feeling hip). It should be three days of not sleeping, playing music, hanging with other musicians, and doing a bit (a very little bit) of business. I’ll let you know if anything exciting comes of it. If you’re reading this and you are in Austin, or the Austin area, tickets are available to the general public. There will be some terrific talent there- you should check it out.
In October I’ll be playing in Nederland and Greely. In November I’m back in Estes Park, and in December I’m in Jamestown. Check the Show page for the details and as always, stay tuned for late additions.
I’ve been doing a lot of writing lately, as well as getting restarted on an album project. I got bogged down in the spring and we spent a day in the studio this week doing some overdubs with a terrifically talented keyboard player. I left the session really fired up to finish this record and feeling pretty excited about it. There’s a quick clip below. Look for a release sometime in the first half of 2019. I’ll make a whole lot of noise before it gets here, so you can’t miss it.
