Happy Memorial Day everyone. It wasn’t intended as a holiday event, but this weekend I launched a new website. So if you are reading this, congrats, you found your way here. The old one was a self made thing that I put up quite a few years ago, and it was long overdue for some more professional TLC. It was also a great moment to move the whole thing to JayStott.com, instead of the old address. Hopefully that will make it easier to find me, for the three of you who have been searching.
A big shout out to my friend Nichole, who, in addition to being a fantastic songslinger herself, is also super webtech adept. The new architecture is all her doing. If you are in the Austin, TX area, check her website, she plays out pretty regularly in that part of Texas. Anything you don’t like about the new site is on me. Leave a comment below to tell me what you think.
The web project concluded just in time to go live for a radio campaign kicking off in June. If you hear me on your local Americana or AAA station, please send me a note and let me know what station is spinning the record so I can send them (and you) a big thanks. Of course, you can always hear me at Spotify (follow me there to keep updated), or download Dirt & Heartache at most places where people download stuff.
The shows listings are still getting filled in on the new site, but I’m lining up some more summer dates and working into fall. I’ll mostly be in North Central Colorado this summer, but stay tuned for some possible fall shows elsewhere.
And, most exciting to me, I’ll be in the studio for a few days in July, starting on what I hope will be the next record. I’ll post excessive amounts of nonsense when that time comes.
In the meantime, Happy holiday, drive safe, I’ll see you at a show.
Follow me wherever you are!
