So, Jason Isbell is touring a new album (Southeastern), which is awesome. Both the album and the touring, that is. However, I’m having a morning of fan pique. Really Mr. Isbell- you’re going to Salt Lake City, but couldn’t work in a stop in Colorado? That’s just cold.

I’m pretty sure Isbell will make it through here sometime in the new year, but I was hoping for sooner rather than later. Of course, in fan fantasy land, maybe he is waiting until Amanda Shire‘s new album is out and they can tour together (which her tour schedule shows them doing on the East coast this fall). But that’s just crazy talk…
